Traffic Appraisal

This study, commissioned in 2013 by the Parish Council with support from West Sussex County Council and local business groups, aimed to help residents reclaim their streets and reinforce Ardingly’s unique character. It set out fresh ideas to calm traffic, influence driver behaviour, and reduce speed, while enhancing the village’s distinct identity and heritage. The goal was to ensure Ardingly’s “spirit of place” was immediately felt by all who entered, visited, or passed through.
