Ardingly Parish Council are keen to ensure that Ardingly is a safe place to walk, and as nesting season is coming to an end and Summer Holidays are now upon us, they feel it is now the perfect time of year for you to contribute to the safety of Village by trimming your hedges right back to your property boundary and off the pavement so that the full width of the path can be used by pedestrians
This is especially important on College Road, Street Lane and the High Street where every inch of pavement is important!
Councillors will be walking around the Village in the coming weeks and identifying any dangerous overgrowth e.g., any overgrowth that forces pedestrians off the pavement and into the road and letters will be sent directly to individual homeowners that need to take action
