We are a small, friendly tennis club that was set up to promote greater use of the two Parish Council courts in the area below the children’s playground. Annual membership is just £50 at present, which gives you and your immediate family unlimited use of the courts for no additional cost, subject to availability.
Open Club Sessions
The club has the courts booked on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons for group sessions where we play with whoever turns up. This is usually doubles and everyone is welcome. The standard is competent, but certainly not intimidatingly good and we always try to pair up to make a good game. Definitely fun tennis.
Coaching
We work with local coaches to provide group coaching sessions each year. All abilities welcome. This is included in your membership fee.
Court Booking App
We use a mobile App to book courts for use outside regular club sessions.
WhatsApp Group
There is an optional WhatsApp group where members post, for example “Weather looking good this afternoon. Anyone fancy doubles at 3:00?”.
