The sun and poppies are out! It is worth walking around the village and seeing the names of the many Ardingly residents who gave their lives during WWI and WWII.
Ardingly hosted allied forces and took in evacuees from London. Many thanks to the W.I. for sharing their talents and helping us to remember.
A Remembrance Day service will be held on Sunday, 9 November at 10:45am, led by Reverend John Crutchley of St Peter’s Church, outside the Ardingly Community Pavilion on the Ardingly Recreation Ground.
We encourage you to walk if you are able, to allow parking for those less able. This service is open to all, and we encourage you to take a moment to appreciate our hard-earned peace.
