You may already have heard, but we wanted to remind everyone that the Parish Council Free BBQ planned for 3rd October, to officially open the area now known as Hapstead Green, has been postponed until the spring.
The decision has been made so we can celebrate the opening when the area has been planted and is in full bloom — and, hopefully, when we can count on some warmer weather! ☀️🌸
The good news is that it looks like the grass has survived, and we should soon have all the signage and noticeboard installed, which will be a great improvement.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to Hapstead Green for the official opening in the spring. 🌱
