Mid Sussex District Council is changing its waste collection service from the beginning of November.
Whilst how often your bins are collected and their cycle will stay the same:

Every week – food waste in your new green food waste bin.

Every second week – mixed recycling from your existing blue-lidded wheelie bin.

Every three weeks – rubbish from your existing black-lidded wheelie bin.
From the start of November, collections will take place on a Monday.
Please note there will be a short temporary change after Christmas, when food waste collections will occur on a Tuesday until 12 January, after which Monday collections will resume.
